Ethel Uzarewicz 1927-2025
The eldest child of Blake and Elizabeth (nee Runge) St Marie, Ethel was born on August 17th, 1927 in Chicago IL where she resided until her death. Three siblings, Robert, Richard and Ronald followed.
She married the love if her life, Thaddeus “Ted” Uzarewicz on June 26th, 1948 and produced two daughters, Sharon Lynn Uzarewicz and Sandra Lynn Stroh. There were the added bonuses of grandchildren Lee Stroh and Julie Maritato and great granddaughter Ally Maritato.
She drew her last breath on December 28th, 2025. A lifespan of 98 years.
The essence of her life revolved around family. More than the matrirach, she was the glue, the core, the Christmas. She devoted her every breath to those she held dear and her passing left an emptiness impossible to replace.
