Emma Wayda

Emma Wayda, nee Schuder, age 92, passed away peacefully on October 23, 2024. Emma was the beloved wife of the late Paul; loving mother of Christina (Philipp) Speer; dearest daughter of the late Centa and Maximillian Schuder; cherished grandmother of Olivia, Ava (Austin James) and Alexander Speer; dear sister of the late Maral, Max, Schorsch, Sepp and Helga; fond aunt of Iris, Diane, Debbie, Dave, Denise and many other nieces and nephews in Germany.



In lieu of flowers, donations in Emma's name to Prince of Peace Parish in Lake Villa at princeofpeacelv.org or Prince of Peace Parish 135 S. Milwaukee Ave., Lake Villa, IL 60046 would be appreciated.



Visitation Monday, October 28, 2024, from 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge. We will then proceed to St. Monica Church in Chicago for Mass at 12:00 noon. The interment will follow at All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines.
