Emily Sloan

Emily Ann Sloan, nee Heitz, age 87, passed away peacefully on October 9, 2022. Emily was the beloved wife of the late James Quin Sloan; loving mother of Daniel (Maureen), Sheryl, Timothy (Keely) and Tracy Sloan; cherished grandmother of Bridget and Jaclyn Sloan; dear sister in-law of Rita Sloan Vogt; fond aunt of many. Emily was a devout parishioner of St. Priscilla Parish in Chicago, and was very involved in parish activities. She was a past President of the Women's Club, and a Eucharistic minister for many years. She was very active in fundraising for the church, and anything to do with the church and school, and had made many dear friends through the church. Emily loved to have a good time, and she was the Chicago Cub's greatest fan. Go Cubs Go!!

Visitation Wednesday, October 12, 2022, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL.

Funeral services begin at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, at the funeral home, and will then proceed to Saint Priscilla Catholic Church in Chicago for Mass at 10:30 a.m.

The interment will follow at Maryhill Catholic Cemetery in Niles, IL. For more information call (708)456-8300.
