Emily Converso

Emily A. "Emmy" "Em" Converso (nee Kashmier), age 85, passed away unexpectedly at her home with her family at her side on April 18, 2026. Emily was the beloved wife of James L. for 66 wonderful years on May 28; loving mother of Jimmy (Josephine) and Lawrence (Sayaka) Converso and Lisa Wolfe; dearest daughter of the late Anne and Irwin Kashmier; cherished grandmother of Nicholas Wolfe and Tyler Converso, and their loving pets BoBo, Remy, Mittens and the late Booty Bear; dear sister of Linda (the late Bob) Sadler and the late Kenny (the late Sandy) and the late Irwin (Jan) Kashmier, and sister in law of Junie (the late Shirley) Converso, and she was a fond aunt to Laura, Chad, David, Dustin, Jeff, Brian and Michael.

Visitation Saturday, April 25, 2026, from 10:30 a.m. until a 12 Noon Funeral Service at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge. We will then proceed for Interment at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in River Grove. In lieu of flowers donations to The Parkinson's Foundation at parkinsons.org would be appreciated.
