Emil Kurowski

Emil Jozef Kurowski, age 66, passed unexpectedly in Poland on June 20, 2024. Emil was the beloved husband of Alicja for 45 wonderful years; loving father of Bozena (Pawel) Szpiech, Anna (Thiago) Mairink and Natalia Kurowska; dearest son of the late Maria (Jurkowska) and the late Marian Kurowski; cherished grandfather of Kevin, Matthew, Carter and Logan; dear brother of the late Jan (Lucyna) and the late Stanislaw (Maria) Kurowski and brother in law of the late Kazimierz (Maria) Gajda; fond uncle and friend of many.



Emil was a most loving and devoted husband and father, and was so proud of his four grandsons. He took great pride in attending Kevin, Matthew, Carter and Logan's various sporting events, and he will be dearly missed by them all. He was a member of the Sheetmetal Workers Union #73 for 32 years.



Visitation Sunday, July 7, 2024, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. Funeral services begin at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, at the funeral home, and will proceed to Holy Trinity Polish Catholic Church 1118 N. Noble St., Chicago for Mass at 11:00 a.m. The entombment will follow at All Saints Mausoleum in Des Plaines. For more information call (708)456-8300.
