Elvira Pisani

Elvira "Vera" R. Pisani nee Basile, age 89. Beloved wife of the late Romeo; loving mother of Valerie Pisani, Vivian (John) Fasso, Richard Pisani, and Ronald (Dyana) Pisani, beloved daughter of the late Louis and Mary Tucci Basile; fond grandmother of Gino Fasso, Giacomo Pisani, and Charise Pisani; dear sister of the late Albert (surviving Barbara) Basile; fond aunt of Noelle (Joe) Piemonte, Mary (Adam) Gustafson, Albert Basile Jr.; loving great aunt of Gianna, Lino, Brianna, Alexandra, Anthony, and Ella. Vera and Romeo were happily married for 59 years. After raising four children, she began her career at St. Patrick's High School for over 25 years in which she made many friends, both faculty and students. She lived for her children and grandchildren. She loved to travel. Her main priority was family and never missed Gino's baseball games, Charise's theater performances or Giacomo Productions. Vera made many friends over the years at Richie's Restaurant and will be missed by many. In remembrance of Vera, the family asks that any charitable donations be made to Have Dreams. Lawrence Ave Norridge, IL 60706. Funeral services begin on Monday at the funeral home at 9:00 am until the time of the chapel service at 10:00 am.
