Ellen S Furst-Corbett

Ellen S. "Sue" Furst-Corbett, age 70, passed away peacefully on May 10, 2026. Sue was the beloved wife of Dean Corbett for over 40 wonderful years; dearest daughter of the late Ruth (nee Wittig) and the late John Furst; dear sister of William Furst, and sister in-law of Laura Corbett and Glen Jacobs; cherished aunt of Gary and Chris Anish, many other aunts, uncles and cousins, and she was a beloved best friend to Glenda (the late William) Rabe.

Sue was a Registered Nurse who worked throughout the Chicagoland area and travelled to other communities.

Visitation Thursday, May 14, 2026, from 3:00p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. The funeral will be Friday, friends and family are asked to gather at the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. for a prayer service beginning at 11:00 a.m. All Services will conclude at the funeral home and the interment will be private.
