Elena Scarsella (nee Di Meo) age 97, Passed away peacfully on Wednesday, September 25, 2024. Elena was born on May 2, 1927 in Castle San Vincenzo, Italy. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Scarsella.  Loving mother of Franca (Joseph) Perna and John Anthony Scarsella. Mother-in-Law of Anna Marie.  Cherished grandmother of Tina (Vito) Ferri, Salvatore (Sara) Perna, Lisa (Michael) Pallen, Gianna, Cristina (Mario) Tamburello and JoMarie. Great grandmother of Mario, Ava, Lilliana, Ella, Miles, Aria, Livia and Gaetano. Dear sister of the late Carmela (the late Antonio) Di Vito. Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Visitation for Elena will take place on Monday, September 30, 2024 from 9:00 am until 11:00 am at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave. Norridge, Il. The funeral will them proceed to St. Monica Church for 11:30 am Mass. Entombment will follow at the Resurrection Garden Mausoleum, St. Joseph Cemetery in River Grove.
