Elda Silva

Elda "Hilda" Silva, nee Cazuela, age 96, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on July 16, 2025. Elda was the beloved wife of the late Raul U.S. Navy Veteran of WWII; loving mother of Robert A. and Mario R. (Nancy) Silva; dearest daughter of the late Claudia and Julio Garcia-Cazuela; cherised grandmother of Anthony (Lisa) Celaya-Silva, Deana (Andy) Liggett and Tara (Angel) Perez; adoring G.G. of Loralei, Hayden, Maggie, Isabella, Ben, Alex, Mia, Chloe and Zaylee; dear sister of the late Carmen Fresas and Nancy Duvwika, and she was a fond aunt of many.

Visitation Monday, July 21, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. Friends and family will gather at the funeral home on Tuesday by 10:30 a.m. from a funeral service beginning at 11:00 a.m. The interment will follow at Eden Memorial Park Cemetery in Schiller Park.
