Edwin A. Rozanski, Age 93, passed away in his home on July 25, 2017. He was preceded in death by parents Theophil and Veronica, beloved wife Theresa (Nigrelli), sisters Florence, Agnes and Irene, and brother Leonard. Ed is survived by sons Randy (Cathy) and Jim (Susan), sister Mary, brother Edmund (Shirley), sister-in-law Dorothy Rozanski, cherished grandchildren Matt (Lana), Theresa (Elliott) Shelton, Dan, Laura, Emmy, Allan and Willy, and great-grandchildren Penelope, Leo, Adelaide, and Leilani. Ed was born August 22, 1923 in Chicago. He is a WWII Army veteran, and served in Company E of the 401st Glider Infantry. He was wounded in combat in Europe, and captured as a POW. After his release from the POW camp and his honorable discharge, he resumed civilian life. He married Theresa on April 15, 1950. He worked for over 30 years at ITT Bell and Gossett in Morton Grove. He was a life-long Cubs fan, and enjoyed fishing, gardening, home repair and improvements. Above all Ed loved his family, and was dearly loved in return. Visitation Sunday, July 30th, from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels, 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge. Funeral Monday 9:00 a.m. from the funeral home and proceeding to St. Beatrice Church, Schiller Park, for Mass at 10:00 A.M. Entombment Crucifixion Garden Mausoleum at St. Joseph Cemetery.
