Edward Aloisius Kulesza

Edward “Ed” Kulesza was born on January 1, 1920, in Chicago, Illinois, where he was raised and lived his entire life. During World War II, he proudly served in the U.S. Army. Ed passed away on December 27, 2025.

In May 1956, Ed married Frances Miskiewicz. Their marriage spanned more than five decades until Frances’s passing in July 2009. Together, they built a close-knit family and shared a lifetime of memories.

Ed is survived by his three children, Ruth Pedrick (Tom), Larry Kulesza, and Judy Nichol (Ken); six grandchildren, Lynn Horihan (Jason), Geoff Pedrick (Stephanie), Tim Pedrick (Stina), Ryan Nichol, Kyle Nichol (Elizabeth), and Meghan Nichol Zayas (Manny); and eight great-grandchildren. Family was central to Ed’s life, and he cherished the time spent with each generation.

A Mass in his honor will be held on January 17, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Corpus Christi Church in Carol Stream, Illinois.
