Edward Henriksen

Edward Henriksen, age 95, U.S. Navy Veteran of WWII, passed away on August 10, 2019, surrounded by his loving family. Edward was the beloved husband of Helen, nee Zielinski, for 69 wonderful years; loving father of Daniel (Anne) Henriksen and Donna (Edward) Boyk; dearest son of the late Paula, nee Jensen, and the late Jorgen Henriksen; cherished grandfather of Eric (Gabriella) Henriksen, Alison (Adam) Thas and Thomas Boyk; great-grandfather of Bella, Miles, Eliza, Simon, Beckett, Beatrice and Lucas; dear brother of his twin the late George (the late Mary) Henriksen and the late Norma (the late Frank) Mansueto; fond uncle of many. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital would be appreciated. Visitation Tuesday, August 13, 2019, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of an 11:00 a.m. Funeral Service at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. The interment will be private at Mt.
