Edward A. Amen, age 68, U.S. Navy Veteran, passed away suddenly on July 5, 2021. Edward was the beloved husband of Donna, nee Roe, and the late Linda; loving father of Carri (John) O'Brien, David (Colleen) Amen, Elizabeth (Lou) Velazquez, Christina (Aaron) Butler and Ashley (Dan) McCloskey; dearest son of the late Shirley and Edward Amen; cherished grandfather of Danielle, Luis, Giana, Isabella, James, Arianna, Ella and Alexandria; dear brother of Paula (Ed) Mika and Karl (Gail) Amen; fond uncle of many. Visitation Sunday, July 11, 2021, from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. Friends and family are asked to gather by 9:30 a.m. on Monday, at the funeral home, for a funeral service beginning at 10:00 a.m. The interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Park in Northlake.
