Edumia "Vina" Montoya, nee Moreno, age 68, passed away peacefully on December 13, 2020. Vina was the beloved wife of Salvador for 47 wonderful years; loving mother of Marco (Angelica), Maria (Jose' Vega) and Juan (Jessica) Montoya; dearest daughter of the late Maria and David Moreno; cherished grandmother of Leslie, Yesenia, Eduardo, Sebastian, Emiliano and Nicolas; dear sister of David (Belen), Juan (Adela) and the late Inez and Ignacio Moreno; fond aunt, cousin and friend of many. Visitation Wednesday, December 16, 2020, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. Due to the current health guidelines, we are limited to 10 attendees at a time. We kindly ask that you quickly exit the funeral home after paying your respects to the family so that all visitors have an opportunity to enter. Please wear masks and use proper social distancing. Until further notice, the coffee room is not available for use. Please refrain from bringing food or beverage into the funeral home. A private funeral service will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, at the funeral home, and we will then drive in procession for the interment at All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines. While the funeral service is private due to the limited number of attendees, anyone who wishes to join the procession to the cemetery can gather at the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday.
