Eddy R. Moore, 91, at rest October 11, 2025. Beloved husband of the late Virginia Lee Moore (nee Harbison) for 57 loving years. Loving father of Cynthia Lynn Moore and Caryn (Frank) DiBenedetto. Cherished grandfather of Frank (Joanna) DiBenedetto and Anthony DiBenedetto. Dear brother of Dempsey Moore and Ruth Jaworowski. Fond uncle of many. Eddy was a longtime member of the Cement Masons Union Local #502. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, playing chess and golf, and spending time outdoors and fishing. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 15 from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels, 8300 W Lawrence Ave, Norridge. Funeral Service will be held Wednesday evening at 7:00 p.m. Interment will take place on Friday, October 17, at Evergreen Cemetery, Chester, Il. Donations may be made in Eddy’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Visitation will also take place on Friday, October 17, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 509 W Illinois, Steelville, IL. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Chester, IL.
