Dorothy Wheeler

Dorothy Wheeler, also known as Rosemary Dorothy Kolaczewski, age 87, passed away peacefully on December 19, 2016. Dorothy was the beloved daughter of the late Marie and Aloysius Kolaczewski; loving sister of the late Albert (Elaine) Wheeler; dear aunt of Susan (Jack Deibel) Schippits and Dale (Melody) Wheeler; cousin of Mary (Gil) Solarz; great aunt of Amanda Wheeler, Shannon (Keith) Zaffuto, Linda (Don) Heideger, Steve (Janet) Solarz and Laura (Scott) Schalla. During WWII Dorothy began corresponding and offering words of encouragement with members of the military. These long distance connections continued throughout her lifetime and were appreciated by all who received them. She was an usher at Our Lady of Hope Church in Rosemont for many years. She was loving, and she was loved!
