Dorothy Schell

Dorothy Schell, age 100, will remain in our hearts forever. Beloved wife of the late Charles Schell and fond sister of the late Stella Kaseska and Irvin Hermes. Loving mother of Susan (Edward) Cargill, Nancy (Gary) Schultz, Chuck (Christine) Schell, Robert (Karen Hermes) Schell, Richard (Debra) Schell and Mary Lynne (Leslie) Wright. She adored her eleven grandchildren: Mary Beth (Marty) Mersch, Laura (Lance) Thompson, Julie (Leonard) Loverher, David (Colleen) Schultz, Cindy (Peter) Gayford, Amy (Jay) Owen, Carrie and Kevin Schell, Erin (Matt) Rismiller, Kathleen (Shawn) Velten and Michael (Andree) Schell. She dearly loved her 23 great-grandchildren: Erin, Mairtin, Annie, Tim and Robert Mersch; Jacob and Olivia Thompson; Vincent, Ali, Robert and Edward Loverher; Emily and Charlie Schultz; William and Cora Gayford; Vivian Owen; Megan, Collin, Keegan and Connor Rismiller; Avery and Callie Velten and a great grandchild Schell due to be born in January. Beloved aunt of Barbara Rajah and Bob Hermes. She had a smile for everyone and thoroughly enjoyed her caretaker of recent months, Moriliat (Marie) Johnson. Visitation Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels, 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. Funeral Monday, family and friends to meet at St. Peter Church 8116 Niles Center Rd., Skokie for Mass 10:30a.m. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery.
