Dorothy Dooley

Dorothy E. Dooley (nee Beaumier) age 91, at rest on November 16, 2024. Dorothy was born in Chicago on January 24, 1933. She was preceded in death by her loving parents Joseph and Mary Beaumier.  Beloved wife of the late William. Loving mother of James (Aimee), Joseph (Keeley), William (Lauren) and the late Timothy (the late Priscilla). Cherished grandmother of Justin, Jake, Jenna, Claryce, Caroline, Camryn, Brenna, Tommy, Tessa, Dana, and Elise. Great grandmother of Adrian. Fond sister of Paulette (Robert) Kurek and the late Jean (the late James) Norman. Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews.

She married the love of her life, Bill, in 1954. Bill and Dorothy went on to have four boys, her pride and joy. They moved to Schiller Park in 1960 where they raised their family and became active residents of the community and St. Beatrice Parish. Her husband Bill passed away in 1981 and Dorothy was left to raise her teenage boys on her own. She held jobs in the Schiller Park School District and went on to work many years at Reinke Supply where she was a valued employee until the time of her retirement in 2006. She will be remembered by all for her quick wit, sense of humor and devotion to her family.

Visitation for Dorothy will take place on Thursday, November 21, 2024 from 3:00 pm unitl 8:00 pm at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave. Norridge, Il. Funeral Friday, begininng at the funeral home at 9:00 am and will then proceed to The Holy Virgin Martyrs Parish / St. Beatrice Church in Schiller Park for 10:00 am Mass. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in River Grove, Il.
