Dorothy Bojan (Sychowski), age 93, passed away peacefully with family at her side on September 15, 2026. Dorothy was the beloved wife of the late Roman; loving mother of Barbara M. (the late Erwin) Eckert, Mary (Edward) Dubiel and Anne (Brek) Hufnus; dear daughter of the late Helen (Nagel) and the late Joseph Sychowski; cherished grandmother of Melissa (David "D.J.") Alice, Steven (Katie) Dubiel, Kristen (Armando Elizondo) Eckert, Michael Eckert, Jason (Elizabeth) Dubiel, Rebecca (Erik Sumanis) Hufnus, Matthew Dubiel and Brian Hufnus, and great grandmother of Andrew, Claire, Emily, Jackson, Daniel, Ryan, Logan, Lyla, Vivian and Alexandra; dearest sister of Robert (Sue) Sychowski, the late Leonard (the late Ann) Sychowski and the late Shirley (the late Raymond) Gibellin. She was a fond aunt, cousin and friend of many.

Memorial Visitation Friday, September 25, 2026, from 10:30 a.m. until the time of a Memorial Mass 11:30 a.m. at St. Eugene Church (Queen of Peace Parish) 7958 W. Foster Ave., Chicago, IL. The interment will follow at Maryhill Catholic Cemetery in Niles. For more information call (708)456-8300.
