Donald Rooks

Donald W. Rooks, age 87, passed away on September 22, 2025.  Donald was a proud Veteran of the United States Army.

Beloved Husband of the late Jeanne M. Rooks (nee Feigl). Loving father of Lynne (Arthur) Sanders, Donna (Dennis) Clark and Kathy (Shawn) Gilleran.  Proud grandpa of Julia (Alex), Ryan, Sean, Matthew, Samantha, Grace, Jack, Maggie and the late Elizabeth and Kevin and great grandpa of Theo.  dearest brother of Margaret (the late Charlie) Wambold and fond uncle of many.

Visitation Thursday, September 25, 2025 from 3:00 until 8:00 p.m. and Friday September 26, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. until time of Prayer Service at 11:00 a.m. at Cumberland Chapels , 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL.  Burial and Military Honors to follow at Maryhill cemetery in Niles, IL.  In lieu of flowers donations to the Alzheimer’s Association http://alz.org would be appreciated.
