Don Karlovitz

Donald “Don” Karlovitz passed away surrounded by his loving family. He was 75 years old.  Loving husband of Virginia “Ginny” nee Cherwin.

Loving father of Christine (Kyle) Kozuch and Michelle (Patrick Ringel) Karlovitz.  Dear son of the late Joseph (late LaVerne Carrow) Karlovitz.

Fond grandfather of Carter Kozuch, Kira Kozuch, and Evelyn Ringel.  Dear brother of Kenneth (late Lynda) Karlovitz, Ronald (late Cynthia) Karlovitz, late Wayne Karlovitz, and late William (Darlene) Karlovitz.  Dear brother-in-law of William (Catherine) Cherwin, Marguerite (Erven) Muller, Michael (Donna) Cherwin, late Kathleen (Clarence) Wagner, and the late Mary (late Russel) Wagner.  Fond uncle and great uncle of many.   

Visitation Thursday, October 8, 2026 from 3:00-8:00PM at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave. Norridge, IL 60174.  Funeral Friday, October 9, 2026, 9AM from the funeral home to St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church 8033 W. Addison St. Chicago, IL 60634,  Mass 10:00AM.  Interment with graveside services will follow at All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines, IL 60016.

Don was a member of Sheet Metal Workers Union Local 73.
