Beloved husband of the late Marie Dolares Salemi nee Magera; loving father of Steven (the late Monica), Anna (David) Johnson, Judy (Sam), Dominic (Kathy), Anthony (Gina), William (Anna), Michael (Fran), Greg (Mary), and the late Karen; beloved son of the late Stefano Salemi and the late Maria Salemi nee Pace; fond grandfather of 19 grandchildren; great grandfather of 14 grandchildren; dear brother of the late Mary Mrugacz, Laura Varalla, Andrew, and Joseph (surviving Dolores); fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Visitation Sunday, October 22, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave. Norridge, IL 60706. Funeral Services begin Monday at 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home and will proceed to St. Cyprian Church for Mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
