Dominic DiCristofano, 87, passed away peacefully on January 1, 2024 surrounded by his loving family. He leaves behind a legacy as the beloved husband of Franca; loving father of Susan (Daniel) and Al (Amanda); devoted Nonno to Jenna, Michael, Ella and Charlotte; dearest brother of Carmela (the late Luigi) Notardonato; fond brother- in-law to Maria (Amedeo) Lamberti and Mario (Marisa) Carracillo; loving uncle of many nieces and nephews .Born in Castel San Vincenzo, Italy, he immigrated to Chicago in 1960, where he embraced American sports, but never lost his love for watching Juventus and playing soccer himself. In 1964, he returned to Italy to marry Franca, the love of his life, and the following year the couple started their life together in Chicago. Professionally, he pursued a career in tool & die and applied those detail precision skills to all that he did - even teaching his grandchildren multiplication. At the heart of it all was Dominic's unwavering love for his family. His 59-year journey with Franca was the cornerstone of his life, marked by unconditional love. His pride in his children was only surpassed by the joy he found in his grandchildren. He was a member of the St Stephen & St Vincent Society of Chicago.
