Dominga Febo de Reyes (Mama Minga), a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, sister, and friend to all, has left us here on earth to be with our heavenly Father.Mama Minga is survived by her daughter, Blanca Sanchez, her son, Angel Manuel Reyes and her sister, Ramona Colon; 13 grandchildren, and 23 great-grandchildren, a slew of nieces, nephews, and extended family. She is preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Jesus Manuel Reyes (Papa Nolo), her sons Miguel Angel Reyes (Mickey) and Jose Orlando Reyes (Joito), her parents, Hilario Febo and Encarnacion Matos; her sisters, Aurelia Febo, Maria de los Reyes Febo, Adelaida Febo, her brother, Angel Luis Febo. Mama Minga was born on December 20,1920. In high school she enjoyed playing basketball, baseball, and volleyball. She came to the United States from Puerto Rico in 1953 and worked at American Transformers for many years. Mama was a bowler, she loved to play dominoes, board games, air hockey, Rummikub, LCR, work on crossword puzzles, scratching off lottery tickets, watching Wheel of Fortune and Caso Cerrado.Aside from working at American Transformers she also did a wonderful job in taking care of many of her grandchildren and she was a room mother at St. Peter Canisius. She was a spiritual woman who prayed every day.Mama Minga, you will be missed by many, but never forgotten. Que Dios te bendiga siempre.
