Dolores Jayko (née Kolodziejski), beloved wife of the late Eugene (who passed in 1997) for nearly 50 years. Loving mother of Jayne (Gerald) Wallace, Robert (Kathy), Eugene (Sharon), and Michael (Karen) the late Joseph (Jan) Jayko. Dearest daughter of the late Edward and the late Mary Kolodziejski. Loving grandmother of Kate, Chris, Jackie, Joe Jr. (Andrea), William and Marissa. Great grandmother of 5. Fond sister of Mary Ann Wiszowaty, Shirley Engle and Joyce Seminaro and the late Edward Jr., the late William Kolodziejski, the late Irene Kocol-Craig and the late Lorraine Jankowski. Dolores held various secretarial positions with Sanatex, Chicago Baking Company and Raffel Systems. After raising her children she worked as a switchboard operator for Carson Pirie Scott at the Harlem-Irving Plaza. She held that position for many years before retiring. Visitation Tuesday, September 26, 2023 from 3:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels, 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL 60706. Funeral Services begin Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home and will proceed to Our Lady of the Rosary Parish at St. Pascal Church, 6199 W.
