Diane Smoen

Diane H. Smoen, age 67, passed away peacefully on November 7, 2023. Diane  was the dearest daughter of the late Helen and Joseph; loving sister of Joseph (Marie), George (Ann) and Barbara (Bob) Gilman; cherished aunt of Dina (Kent Fremuth) Smoen; fond cousin of many.

Diane was a lover of animals, and had a special fondness for cats, in particular, her two cats Smudge and Chadwick.  She loved to eat chocolate and was a lifelong fan of the Chicago Cubs. Go Cubs Go!!  In lieu of flowers, donations to PAWS Chicago at paws.org would be appreciated.

Memorial Visitation Saturday, November 18, 2023, from 12:00 noon until the time of a 2:30 p.m. Service at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. Her ashes will be interred at a later date at St. Adalbert Cemetery in Niles.  For more information call (708)456-8300.
