Diane Gustafson

Diane DiVito Gustafson, age 57, passed away on June 28, 2020 surrounded by her loving family. Diane was the beloved wife of Steven C. for 34 wonderful years; loving mother of Danielle and Erik Gustafson; cherished daughter of Josephine, nee DiMeo, and Dominick DiVito; dear daughter in-law of Irma and the late Carl Gustafson; dearest sister of Roger (Nicole) DiVito and sister in-law of Karianne (Brad) Pawlowski and David (Stacy) Gustafson. She was a fond niece, cousin and aunt to many, and a proud mom to her pup Trixie. Diane was a teachers aid for 20 years at Our Lady of the Wayside parish school where she was a favorite to many of the children. She was a kind and sweet soul who made deep and loving friendships with many. Visitation Wednesday, July 1, 2020, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. Funeral services begin at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, at the funeral home, and will then proceed to St. Francis Borgia Church in Chicago for Mass at 10:30 a.m. The entombment will follow at Crucifixion Garden Mausoleum in St. Joseph Cemetery, River Grove, IL. Due to current health guidelines, we are limited to 50 attendees at a time. We kindly ask that you quickly exit the funeral home after paying your respects to the family so that all visitors have the opportunity to enter.
