Dennis D'Amato

Dennis M. D'Amato, age 72, passed away peacefully at his home on December 7, 2023, with his family at his side.  Dennis was the beloved husband of Daryl, nee Nordby, for 47 wonderful years; loving father of Matthew W. (Deanna) and Christopher D. D'Amato; cherished Papa of Grace, Noah, Faith and Chloe; dearest son of the late Rita and Oscar "Scotty" D'Amato; dear brother of Theresa (Perry) Muglia and Robert (MaryLou) D'Amato; fond uncle of Tony (Kathy) and Vince (Christine) Muglia, Gina (Giuseppe) Sammartino and Paul (Abi) D'Amato and he was a great uncle to many nieces and nephews.



Visitation Monday, December 11, 2023, from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. Funeral services begin at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, at the funeral home, and will then proceed to St. Monica Church in Chicago for Mass at 11:30 a.m. The interment will follow at All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to support the Neuro-Oncology Discretionary Fund at RUSH.
