Dena Nicole Tamburrino

Dena Nicole Tamburrino, age 51, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on August 23, 2026.

Dena was the devoted fiancée of Earl Redden; beloved daughter of the late Nicholas Spaniak and Karen DeRosa-Gunkel (Glen); loving mom of Carli Anne (Anthony) Lauria; caring sister of Nick (Lindsey) Spaniak and Anthony (Evelina) DeRosa; cherished Grammy of Marco (13), Anthony (10), Juliette (4), and Luca (1½); dearest aunt of David (2); loving mom to her furry baby, Charlie; and a dear friend, cousin, and niece to many.

Above all, Dena loved her family with her entire heart. She was a devoted mom and Grammy who found so much joy in caring for the people she loved. She was thoughtful and generous, always remembering the little things and finding ways to make the people around her feel special. Dena had a way of connecting with everyone she met, and those who knew her will remember her for her big heart, her strength, her sense of humor, and the love she gave so freely.

Dena faced her battle with cancer with incredible strength and courage. Through even the most difficult days, her love for her family and her faith in Jesus remained unwavering. She will be deeply missed and forever loved by all those whose lives she touched.

A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at Cumberland Chapels, 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with a service beginning at 6:00 p.m. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Dena’s memory.
