Demetrio Saitis

Demetrio Saitis, age 76, U.S. Army Veteran, passed away unexpectedly on January 21, 2022. Demetrio is the beloved husband of Paula, nee Wander, for 42 wonderful years; loving father of Harrison Saitis; dear son of the late Geraldo and Georgina (Triantafilo); dear brother of Jorge and Maria Eugenia Saitis and the late Panayota Gerontis and the late Juan (Edith Prichard) Saitis and brother in-law of Nancy Stolfa and Maribeth Uutala; he was a nephew and cousin of many and a friend to all who knew him. Demetrio was a respected teacher at Seward Elementary School with the Chicago Public Schools for many years. Memorial Visitation, Sunday, April 3, 2022, from 2:00 p.m. until the time of a Funeral Service 4:30 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL 60706.
