Darlene Marie Schorsch nee Zitka, age 84. Beloved wife of Dr. Thomas J. Schorsch, DDS; loving mother of Thomas Schorsch, Jr. (Mimi Zaphiratos)., Patricia Schorsch (Wayne Gulbranson), David (Suzanne Nelson) Schorsch, Alison Schorsch and Paul Schorsch; cherished grandmother of Kristen, Lauren and William Schorsch. Preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Victoria nee Pallet Zitka, her daughter Alicia Schorsch and her siblings Joann (Forest) Sexton and Francis (Eileen) Zitka. Darlene, along with father Ted Stone, established the Ministry of Care at Our Lady Mother of the Church and continued to lead it for more than twenty-five years Visitation Sunday October 1, 2:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels, 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. Funeral services begin Monday October 2, 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home and will proceed to Our Lady Mother of the Church, 8747 W Lawrence Ave, Chicago, for Mass at 11:00 a.m. Interment private.
