Dale Lewandowski

Dale L. Lewandowski, age 68, passed away after a brief illness on April 21, 2025. Dale was the dear son of the late Marie (nee Gurtowski) and the late Irvin Lewandowski; beloved brother of Richard Lewandowski, Mary (the late Kenneth) Kainu, Judith (Fiance' Louis Tenuta) Lewandowski, Diane (the late Christopher) Green and the late Ronald Lewandowski; fond cousin of Maryellen (Richard) Friedman and friend to Bill Bradt and many other cousins and friends; dear uncle of Ted (Dawn) DiVito and Tonine DiVito, Fawn (Steve Tobias) Lewandowski, Andrea (Steve) Milker, Kara (Dan) Hewett, Jonathan Kainu, Austin (Melanie Kulatilake) Green, Alyssa (Ryan Walker) Green and Aiden Green and many other great nieces and nephews.

Dale lived a full life with many travels around the world. He was passionate about the city of Chicago and enjoyed movies and theater. Coming from a large close-knit family, many happy occasions were celebrated. Dale was the most caring and nurturing brother always there for his siblings, friends and coworkers at Pro Travel. Visitation Sunday, April 27, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. Funeral Services begin at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, at the funeral home, and will then proceed to St. Francis Borgia Church for Mass at 11:30 a.m. The interment will follow at St. Adalbert Cemetery in Niles.
