Cindy was born on May 26, 1948, in Chicago. She is the daughter of the late Chester and Helen (Tadel) Nytko. Cindy attended Columbus College School of Design on a scholarship and completed her Bachelor of Arts degree from Lake Erie College. She had an accomplished career in fashion and art. In 2012, she began studying Feng Shui and later obtained a Master's degree in the field. She is a published author and considered an expert in fashion in respect to Feng Shui. Cindy worked as a Feng Shui Practitioner and an AICI Image Consultant. She was a member of the Association for Image Consultants International (AICI) and served as Secretary for the Chicago Midwest Chapter. Cindy participated actively in her church. She cherished her relationships with her cousins and many close friends. Another talent she had was being a gourmet cook and loved to entertain her family and friends. She was an avid traveler and spoke often about her visit to China. In recent years she visited Poland with her cousins to explore the Nytko family ancestry. She enjoyed traveling with friends to attend the theater, museums, restaurants, and other events. She visited with her Tadel family relatives; celebrating graduations, weddings, and holidays. Her cats Asia and Soo Yin held a special place in her heart.
Visitation Thursday, May 15, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at Cumberland Chapels, 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL 60706. We will then proceed to All Saints Polish National Catholic Cathedral for Mass at 12:00 noon. Interment to follow at All Saints Polish National Catholic Cemetery.
