Cynthia Kopelares, nee Stoyias, age 81, passed away peacefully on April 2, 2025. Cynthia was the beloved wife of the late William J.; loving mother of Lainie (Anthony) Adrian, Joanna (Todd) Reykjalin and Leah Solzak; dearest daughter of the late Rose (nee Lilles) and the late Harry Stoyias; cherished Yia Yia of Vasilis Adrian, Erik and Mia Reykjalin and Niklas Solzak; dear sister of Dorothy Stoyias, Janet (the late George) Lykos and the late Peter Stoyias, and she was a fond aunt of many.
Visitation Tuesday April 8, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of a 10:00 a.m. Greek Orthodox Service at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church 2727 W. Winona Ave., Chicago, IL. The interment will follow at Elmwood Cemetery in River Grove. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church would be appreciated. For more information call (708)456-8300.
