Clois E. "Bubba" Doron, age 84, passed away peacefully on June 12, 2021. Bubba was the beloved husband of Reba L., nee Lucas, for 66 wonderful years; loving father of Clois Wayne (Jane) Doron, Cindy A. Douglas and Letha Renee Doron; dear son of the late Jewel and Lewis Doron; cherished papa of Laura Lee (Ricky) Yang, Leslie Ann (Cory) Thompson, Clois Wayne, Jr. (Jerika) and Timothy Scott (Mari) Doron, Lona Kristina Brandt and the late Erik Lee Miller; great grandfather of Samantha, Brandon, Jalissa, Jayce, Tyler, Innocent, Haley, Ciani, Emma, Owen, Amiah, Blake, Jovianna, Brooklynn and Cloie; dearest brother of Debbie Galllimore and the late Joyce Mayo, Robert Doron and Betty Bruce; fond uncle of many. Bubba owned "Bubba and Wayne's Sewer Service" for over 50 years. A man who was such a giver...created a business that provides for his family, cared deeply for his wife, his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, a man who took time to get to know his employees and their families, who lived by a high standard of hard work, ethical, a man of character and integrity, who would wake up in the middle of the night to go and rod a sewer! Gave the best hugs, said the best liners, a velvet brick so to speak, strong and tender towards everyone. A genuinely good man. Visitation Thursday, June 17, 2021, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. Friends and family are asked to gather between 9:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. on Friday, at the funeral home, for a funeral service beginning at 10:30 a.m. The entombment will follow at Rosehill Mausoleum in Chicago.
