Clara Abbinante

Clara Abbinante (nee Guerra), age 86, passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her family on January 23, 2025. Clara was the beloved wife of the late Giovanni; loving mother of Stella and Tony (Ana) Abbinante; dear daughter of the late Immacolata (nee Salvatore) and Rocco Guerra; cherished nonna of Nicalos John Henke, Tia Maria (Justin) Feldman, Lucas (Christine) and Giovanni Abbinante; great nonna of Jionni, Jonathan, Luciano and Vincenzo; dearest sister of Joseph (Betsy) and Angelo (Elena) Guerra, the late Carmela Guerra, the late Teresa (the late Pasquale) Valenzano, the late Frank (the late Antoinette) and the late Vittorio (the late Margherita) Guerra and the late Rafaela (the late Salvatore) Rocco, and she was a fond aunt and friend of many.

Visitation Tuesday, January 28, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. Funeral services begin at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, at the funeral home, and then proceed to St. Cyprian Church in River Grove for Mass at 10:00 a.m. The interment will follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside, IL. for more information call (708)456-8300.
