Cipriano “Cip” Albarran, age 69, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family. Cip was born on October 3, 1956, in Chicago, Illinois, and was a lifelong resident of the city’s northwest side. He was formerly employed for 15 years with the Chicago Transit Authority, where he was known for his dedication and strong work ethic.
Cip is the beloved husband of Amy (nee Horn) for 43 years. He was the loving father of Jason, Christopher, and Teresa Albarran, and the cherished grandfather of Julia, Logan, Abdul Jaleel, Ameer, Zaakir, and Inaaya. He was the dear brother of Alberto (Diana), Tomas, and Felipe, and a fond uncle, cousin, and friend to many.
Cip will be remembered for the love he had for his family, the warmth he shared with everyone around him, and the countless memories he created with those who were blessed to know him. His legacy of kindness, loyalty, and devotion will continue to live on in the hearts of all who loved him.
Visitation for Cipriano will take place on Thursday, December 18, 2025 from 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm at and Friday from 10:00 am until time of funeral service at 11:00 am at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave. Norridge, Il. Interment will be private at a later date.
