Christopher Schumacher

Christopher M. Schumacher, age 52, passed away on April 13, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. Christopher was born on May 25, 1973, in Chicago, Illinois, to Christine (nee Cole) Schumacher and the late Robert J. Schumacher.

Christopher was the beloved husband of Neena Schumacher and the cherished father of Nisa, Nina, Leila, and Ava, who were the center of his world. He was a devoted son, a caring brother to Robert Schumacher, Roberta (John) Bazianos, and Kelli (Nick) Battaglia, and a proud uncle to Hannah, Bobby, Danielle, Alexandra, George, Pietro, and Antonio.

Christopher will be remembered as an amazing person with a heart of gold. His kindness, warmth, and love for his family and friends left a lasting impression on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Visitation for Christopher will take place on Sunday, April 19, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., and on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at Cumberland Chapels, 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, Illinois. Interment will be private.

Christopher’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. Though he is gone from our sight, he will never be gone from our hearts. His love, laughter, and spirit will remain with his family forever, guiding them and giving them strength in the days ahead.
