Christine Szeszol

Christine M. Szeszol, nee Wolinski, age 71, passed away peacefully at her home on February 6, 2021. Christine was the loving wife of John M. for 48 wonderful years; cherished mother of Jonathan (Lindsey); dearest daughter of the late Evelyn and Stanley Wolinski, and daughter in-law of the late Sophie and John Szeszol; dear sister of the late Elizabeth (Reg) Adamski, and sister in-law of Kathie (Tom) Hoban, Jane (Dennis) Mahoney, Jerome (Alicia) and Anne Szeszol; beloved aunt of many nieces and nephews. The Szeszol family extends their heartfelt thanks to Josie who was Chris' longtime angel of care. Chris was a career long Teacher with Des Plaines School District #62. In lieu of flowers, donations to: The Weber High School Scholarship fund or St. Francis Borgia School would be appreciated. Visitation Wednesday, February 10, 2021, from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. Due to the current health guidelines, we are limited to 25 attendees at a time. We kindly ask that you quickly exit the funeral home after paying your respects to the family so that all visitors have an opportunity to enter. Please wear masks and use proper social distancing. Until further notice, the coffee room is not available for use. Please refrain from bringing food or beverage into the funeral home. We will then proceed to St. Francis Borgia Church in Chicago for a funeral mass at 11:30 a.m., and the interment will follow at Maryhill Cemetery in Niles. For more information call (708)456-8300.
