Christina Bertsos

Christina Bertsos, age 81, passed away peacefully at her home on July 19, 2025. Christina was the dear daughter of the late Georgia and Athanasios Bertsos; loving sister of Vasiliki (the late Spiro) Sakaris, Urane (the late Evangelos) Ballis, Ekaterina (George) Lourmas and the late Eleni (the late Mike) Zanaros and the late Elias (Janet) Bertsos, and she was a fond aunt of many.

She enters the kingdom of God joining her father, mother, brother and sister and the 4 loves of her life Smart, Tinky, Brownie and Zeus.

Visitation Friday, August 1, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of a 12:00 p.m. Greek orthodox Service at the Transfiguration of Our Lord Chapel within Elwood Cemetery in River Grove. The entombment will follow at the Elmwood Mausoleum. For more information call (708)456-8300.
