Chester J. Kowalczyk, 83, of Norridge, veteran of the US Air Force, at rest Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2012 with his family at his side. Beloved husband of 42 years to the late Joan, nee Kania; loving father of Kathleen Wu, Ed (Linda), Daniel (Rachelle and the late Susan) and Andrew; beloved son of the late John and Sophie; fond grandfather of Stefanie, Elisa, Jonathan, Clare and Michael; great-grandfather of Adriele; dear brother of Judith (the late Michael) Daniel; fond uncle, cousin, friend and neighbor to many.
