Cesidia Mazzenga

Cesidia Mazzenga, nee Brusca, age 80, at peace with Christ, September 11, 2013. A native of Alvito, Italy, Cesidia emigrated to the United States in 1956, settling in Chicago where she raised her family. Beloved wife of the late Mario; loving mother of Angelo, Luigi (Laura), Rosemary (David) Clifford and Tina (Mike) Miles; most cherished Nonna of Derek, Brianna, Jack, Isabella and Matthew; dear sister of Maria and Giovanna. “Nonna’s door was always open to all. She was a constant example of a faith-driven life. We were blessed to have been loved by her, and will carry on living through her commitment to endless caring and giving.' Visitation Friday 3 to 9 pm at Cumberland Chapels, 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge. Funeral mass 11:30 am at St. Cornelius Church, 5430 W. Foster Ave., Chicago.
