Cathy Miceli

With broken hearts, we share the unexpected passing of Cathy Lu Miceli on June 15, 2025, at the age of 68. Born on August 23, 1956, in Chicago, Illinois, Cathy was a beloved wife, devoted mother, treasured sister, and loyal friend. She lived a life defined by love, strength, and compassion. Always putting others before herself and creating a sense of home wherever she went. Cathy is survived by her loving husband, Daryl R. Miceli, and her devoted son, Matthew R. Miceli, both of whom were the center of her world. She is also survived by her sister, Linda Rosales, with whom she shared a deep bond, and by a lifelong circle of cherished friends who became family through the years. Those who knew Cathy will remember her for her warm heart, gentle wisdom, and unwavering loyalty. She had a gift for making others feel seen and loved, and she brought joy and calm into every space she entered. Whether it was through a thoughtful gesture, a well-timed joke, or her presence during difficult times, Cathy made a difference in the lives around her. She leaves behind a legacy of love, generosity, and quiet grace that will continue to shine through those who had the blessing of knowing her. Cathy will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Visitation for Cathy will take place on Thursday, June 26, 2025 from 5:00 pm until time of funeral service at 8:30 pm at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave. Norridge, Il. 60706. Interment will be private.
