Catherine L. Tamlo, 93, at rest June 6, 2026. Beloved wife of the late Leo for 49 wonderful years. Loving mother of Karen Bonner, Deb Szady, and Mark Tamlo. Dear daughter of the late Tom and Henrietta Riley. Cherished grandmother of Richard and Stephanie; great grandmother of Aidan and Declan. Loving sister of the late Henrietta Gillman. Fond aunt of the late Lyle Gillman. Catherine had a huge heart for animals, caring for various pets throughout the years, and enjoyed spending time out in nature. Visitation will be Thursday, June 11, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels, 8300 W Lawrence Ave, Norridge. Funeral services will begin on Friday at 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home then proceed to St. Eugene Catholic Church, Chicago, for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Maryhill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the ASPCA.
