Caterina (Burrescia) Genovese, 97 of Las Vegas, NV, at rest Tuesday, March 28, 2023. Loving mother of Joelle (Ron) Strzelecki Sr., Devoted Grandmother of Lauren Rossi. Beloved daughter of the late Joseph and Josephine (Riggio) Burrescia. Dear sister of the late, Sylvia Downing, Stefana Martusciello, Carmella, Salvatore and James Burrescia. Fond Aunt/Great Aunt of many “favorite” nieces and nephews. Dear friend to many. Member of the Italian Seventh Day Adventist Church in Elmhurst, IL. Past President of Women’s Burgio Club. Visitation will be held on Saturday April 22 from 10:00-11:00 A.M. at Cumberland Chapels (FRIEL FUNERAL DIRECTORS) 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge. Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 A.M. at the Funeral Home. The burial will take place at the Town of Maine Cemetery, Park Ridge.
