Carol Anne "Carrie" Zaleski, age 59, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on August 7, 2025. Carrie was the beloved daughter of Mary Patricia "Pat" (nee Geary) and the late Leonard P. "Len" Zaleski; dear sister of Mary P., Michael J. (Elane) and the late Leonard P. "Lenny" Zaleski, Jr.; loving aunt of Hannah, Jenna and Leonard P. "Lenny" Zaleski III. Carrie was a beloved niece to John and Jim Geary, a cousin and friend of many and devoted Dog-Mom to her loving companion "Finn."
Visitation Tuesday, August 12, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. Funeral services will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, at the funeral home, and will then proceed to St. Monica Church in Chicago for Mass at 10:00 a.m. The interment will follow at Maryhill cemetery in Niles. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society at cancer.org or PAWS at pawschicago.org would be appreciated. For more information call (708)456-8300.
