Carol S.Saylor (nee Nawcewicz) 72, of Crest Hill, IL passed away peacefully on August 8, 2025. She was born to Adeline and Nicholas Nawcewicz and spent most of her life in Chicago, Villa Park and then the Joliet area.
She worked very hard in an office environment her entire life and enjoyed hosting family get-togethers, especially the holidays. She was passionate about cooking and baking, making wreaths and jewelry, playing Yahtzee, landscaping, traveling, playing bingo and visiting casinos, country music, seafood and the Asian culture.
She is survived by her two sons, Daniel and Jeffrey (Debbie) Saylor, her brothers Daniel (Cynthia), Jeffrey, James, her sister Christine (Jason) Moeller, Aunt Gertrude (Chester) Pozdoll and close cousins Marie (Ken), Debbie (Bob), Billy, nieces, nephews, numerous cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her sister in law Celeste and close cousin Barbara.
Memorial visitation for Carol will take place on Saturday, August 23, 2025 from 10:00 am until time of memorial service at 12:30 pm at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave. Norridge, Il. Interment will be private.
