Carol Glash

Carol L. Glash (née Gruhn), age 94, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on July 8, 2025. Carol was the beloved wife of Roy for 74 wonderful years; devoted mother of Janis (Karl) Belz, James Glash, and Joyce (the late Richard G.) Busser; dear daughter of the late Ethel and Raymond Gruhn; cherished grandmother of Jennifer (Benjamin Redding) and Richard J. Busser and proud great grandmother of William Redding.

Carol was born in Chicago and was a longtime resident of Norridge. She was well known for her perfectly timed meals and delicious baking. She and Roy met when she was only five years old and were deeply in love ever since.

Visitation will be held Monday, July 14, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of a 12:00 Noon Service at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. Interment will follow at All Saints Catholic Cemetery in Des Plaines. For more information, call (708) 456-8300.
