Carmen J. Malandrino, age 92, U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War, passed away peacefully at his home on June 5, 2024. Carmen was the beloved husband of the late Roxana, nee Ciarmoli, for over 60 years; loving father of Rocco (Sue) Malandrino, Bobby (David) Malandrino, Patty (Gene) Ricciardi and John (Renee) Malandrino; dear son of the late Jennie and Sam; cherished grandfather of Jason (Kim) Malandrino, Gina (Dave) Lalowski, Danny (Cassie) Malandrino, Nick (Siobhan) Ricciardi, Matt Ricciardi, Joe (Brooke) Ricciardi, Alex Ricciardi, Marc Malandrino, Pete Malandrino, Jenna Malandrino and Matthew Malandrino; great grandfather of Stella, Evelyn, Will, Keegan, Preston, Calvin, Brody, Rocky, Hailey, Ryan and Lyla; dearset brother of the late Josie (the late Joe) Deliberto; fond uncle of Kathy (Bob) Kloeckner and the late Joanne Brace.
Carmen was a proud member of the Italian Catholic Federation.
Visitation Sunday, June 9, 2024, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. Funeral services begin at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, at the funeral home, and then proceed to Saint Monica Church 5136 N. Nottingham Ave., Chicago for Mass at 12:00 p.m. The interment will follow at Saint Joseph Cemetery in River Grove. For more information call (708)456-8300.
