Carmen M. Hanson age 81, passed away on March 9, 2026. Carmen was born on September 9, 1944 in San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico and resided on the far northwest side of Chicago. Carmen was the former wife of Thomas Hanson and loving partner of Dale Silberzahn. Beloved mother of Michael (Anna) Hanson, Jennifer (Juan Carlos) Morales and the late Steven Hanson. Dearest grandmother of Julia, Mia, Alexa and Tyler. Fond sister of Rosa Enke and the late Juan Rodriguez. Loving aunt of Cindy, Andrea and Eddie.
Visitation for Carmen will take place on Thursday, March 12, 2026 from 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave. Norridge, Illinois 60706. Interment will be private.
